All staff are fully trained and supported for their roles and receive ongoing training as well as access where appropriate for NVQ Level 2 and 3 diplomas in Health and Social Care. If you are new to social care we have a Care Certificate training programme to ensure you are both fully competent and confident.
Staff are encouraged and supported to see their work in terms of helping people to achieve their goals and desired outcomes and not just to perform the prescribed tasks. We look for people we see caring as a vocation and not as a job.
Our carers are very positive about our organisation and the rewards they get from being part of this caring team.
I've worked for a few different care providers, but never felt that the company looked after their clients or staff in the way they deserved. I had heard that you treated your staff well and that you had a good reputation in the community - my friends weren't wrong! I'm able to care for the people I support with dignity and respect, whilst being treated with dignity and respect myself. For the first time as a Care Worker, I feel supported and empowered.

We believe in paying all our staff fairly.
You will get paid:
Your time when you are between clients and 'Waiting to Work'
Your time when you are travelling between different client's homes
Your time when you are attending mandatory training workshops
Your fuel allowance, at 40p per mile.
More wage for unsocial hours (up to £10/hour at weekends).
Our minimum pay is the Living Wage and we pay more if you already have qualifications, as well as when you work outside normal hours. This is believed to be above the going rate for care work in our area.
